Quick Start Guide
This guide steps you through the process of promoting an event from start to finish
Before you start, ensure have these things to hand:
- Your event's booking URL
- Your event's basic details - description, dates, venue, pricing
Follow these steps to get your first event promoted:
- Access and view and your events list
- Navigate to your EVA application
- You'll arrive at the 'Events' page and can view your upcoming events list
- Find and select an event to edit
- Scroll down the list to find an event to edit, alternatively use the search bar
- Click "Edit Event" on any event with a "New" or "Draft" status
- Scroll down the list to find an event to edit, alternatively use the search bar
- Complete required information
- Paste your event's booking URL into the "Update with AI" field and click "Fetch Information" - our bot will go away and return as much data as it can find and populate the mandatory fields!
- OR you can fill in these mandatory fields manually:
- Event Name (max 100 characters)
- Event Description (max 4000 characters)
- Booking URL (where customers buy tickets)
- Event Image (select from suggestions or add your own)
- Start Date and End Date
- Venue/Location (max 100 characters)
- Starting Price (lowest available ticket price)
- Click "Save and Promote"
- Click "Save and Promote" to mark the event ready for email campaigns
- Alternatively, click "Save as Draft" to save your work for later promotion.
