How do I create a custom segment?

Custom segments are created using attributes that you've imported and mapped during your import process. So if you're an organization who uses or has the ability to use transactional data for file import, then you have this as an option.

First, there's two places where you can create a custom segment. You can create them under segments. So you go to segments, click Create Segment, and select Custom segment and create it there. The only difference here is you can only use your own data if you create the segment under segments.

Most common will be using or creating a custom segment in a campaign. Custom segments can be created just like any other segment. You can place them in suppressions or you can include them in the list. So for this demonstration, we're going to include in list, go to the Add Segments button and select New Custom segment.
