How do I use event bands?

Event Bands are powerful tools that let you compare the performance of grouped shows in your organization.

How to Create an Event Band:

  1. Click "Manage Event Bands" to get started.

  2. Click “New Event Band”, then name your band.

  3. Choose the shows you'd like to include.
    You can customize bands in any way that supports your analysis. For example:

    • All performances by a specific artist (e.g., Yo-Yo Ma)

    • Blockbuster events

    • Shows grouped by theme or genre (e.g., Romeo and Juliet, Miss Saigon, and Death of a Salesman for a "Tragedies" band)

  4. Once you’ve selected your shows, click the green arrow to move them into the band.
    To remove a show, click the red arrow.

  5. When your selections are complete, click “Save Changes” and return to the Events Home Page.

How to Use an Event Band:

  • Navigate to “All Events” and search for any show included in your band.

  • Click the bar chart icon.

  • Under “Event Band Insights,” you’ll be able to view dashboards and analytics for the full band.
