Programming it Right: Planning with Recurring Revenues in Mind

A two-day in-person team gathering for chief executive, marketing and artistic senior leaders. Book this Convene for your team

We all feel it... things are just more expensive these days.

The impact of higher costs on the arts & cultural industry means there is no room for error when making programmatic decisions and growing customer relationships.

Leaders have to get it right.

And those savvy professionals who do, know this: every decision counts when making programmatic selections, building customer relationships, and curating customer experiences.

We will reflect on UK sector-wide data and TRG client case study examples to examine programming in the current economic climate and learn how customer choices shift accordingly. We'll make the connection between programming, loyalty trends, and how to create unforgettable experiences for your audience. These insights will help attendees map customer interactions and experiences from the point of purchase to post-attendance and consider strategic and intentional engagement decisions to build recurring revenues.

Each team attending will receive frameworks for:

  • Making data-informed programmatic decisions based on customer relationships

  • Completing a customer experience audit to optimise customer interactions

  • Implementing a repeatable customer listening strategy that meets your organisation's needs and builds trusting customer relationships.

Attendees will hear from special guest Marianne Locatori, Chief Executive and Executive Producer at Theatre Royal Newcastle. Marianne is an experienced leader who, along with her teams at both Theatre Royal Plymouth and Theatre Royal Newcastle, has successfully implemented strategies for building recurring revenues from multi-buyers, members, and individual ticket buyers, in partnership with TRG.

Marianne has extensive experience working with producers and promoters and navigating the complex partnerships between venues and producers. She will share her first-hand experience of planning with recurring revenues in mind and a practical prospective of building teams that can maintain success.
